The drawyoursoul book
In August 2007 Satellite Arts, in conjunction with the University of
Sunderland’s Reg Vardy Gallery, published the book “Soul.” This
handsome collection of over 300 original drawings brings to life a
selection of responses to the simple prompt: “What does your soul look
like?” The drawings, which represent individuals from 52 countries, are
printed in age order, starting with the youngest soul (age 4) and
stretching to the oldest (age 82). as an entree to the images, “Soul”
includes a foreword by exhibition curator Robert Blackson and an
introduction by Satellite Arts founder Edward P. Clapp.
Printed on thick drawing paper, the book is a handsome addition to any
library, and a heart-filled celebration of human diversity.
